back on the topic of vampires, The Vampire Diaries tv series has started it's run. i'm looking forward to this, hope they dont mess it up too much. i noticed it was a trending topic on twitter. i clicked through the search results and was baffled by how many people were saying that it is 'such a rip-off of twilight'. pretty sad considering the fact that LJ Smith wrote the vampire diaries over a decade ago... before twilight :/
