kyaaaaaa it's finally been officially confirmed! johnny depp will be starring as the Mad Hatter in tim burton's alice in wonderland! johnny depp as the mad hatter is genius! dude, this is like the coolest thing in the world. tim burton+johnny depp+alice in wonderland. awesomeness! i hope they make it as weird as it can go. haha.

speaking of weird movies, last month's empire mag released a pic from the upcoming movie Cirque Du Freak, based on the first three books of the Darren Shan saga. i found the books pretty disturbing for a kids book. lol. i mean, some parts got really weird and dark and gory lol. the casting choice seems a bit weird for me. john c reilly as larten crepsley seems a little off. so does patrick fugit as the snake boy. i liked him enough in almost famous and wristcutters: a love story but i cant seem to see him as evra lol. and ken watanabe as mr tall. i always imagined mr tall would look sorta like Lurch from the addams family lmao. but whatever, i'm still interested in how the movie turns out to be. i like weird movies. this one has a freak show. literally. they should totally use mcr's 'mama' as theme song. remember i used to say their music video should be about a carnivale with weird people. haha

paramore are contributing to the Twilight movie's soundtrack! (it's been too long since i twilight-ed lol) we already know that muse are contributing but hey, paramore too! awesomeness, two favourite bands already! (though i kinda feel that it might be better if they had more unknown indie bands instead) i'm not sure what song muse are contributing but it better be 'unintended'. seriously. listen to it if you don't know the song. the first verse says it all.
