have money, will travel

so the past few months have seen friends going all over the world. uk, australia, usa, new zealand, japan, india, paris... you name it. it gets pretty depressing, being stuck in malaysia. therefore, i have a new goal. i intend to go to new york, london or japan before i turn 25. hehe. not to study mind you. just for a holiday. original plan was next year (high hopes eh?), but then i started counting and realised that even if i were to save about 500 - 600 rm a month for the next 18 months, i still wouldnt be able to afford a nice holiday! i dont intend to ask my parents for any money either. (plus i wouldnt be able to get my psp, electric guitar or ipod lol) if anything, new york is definitely out of the question. so i set a different goal. visit one of the three countries within the next 4 years. haha. anyone wanna go through it with me? :P

speaking of friends atas laut, shinying told me she saw *fangirl moment alert* mizushima hiro in japan. OHMYGAAAAAAA. HIROOOOOO...! *dies* that's another thing about living in malaysia. seeing a local celebrity will probably never excite me. lol.

moving on, i FINALLY saw dark knight. i'm sure everyone's watched it already (and blogged about it :P), but oh well:

bloody awesome movie. best movie i've watched so far this year. the actors did an awesome job. heath ledger (rip) is, as expected, fantastic as the joker. so twisted and creepy, yet hilarious and endearing. "watch me make this pen disappear" *bangs thug's head upon the pen* "TADA!" lmao. i dont usually like it when new actors replace a previous actor in a role but i think i preferred maggie gyllenhaal as rachel dawes compared to katie holmes. jim gordon's sudden 'death' made me think "oh no, not sirius black again!" and whoaaa christian bale is hot. i dont remember thinking he was hot in batman begins! haha.

'breaking dawn', the final installment of the twilight saga is coming in 4 days! i'm not sure if the release date will be the same here as in the US but still, it's so close! i work opposite not one, but TWO mph bookstores. whee! lol at first i was gonna preorder the book on mphonline but i figured i'd rather spend a little extra rather than wait god knows how long for the book to arrive. if you, like me, are anxious to know what happens in 'breaking dawn', head over to *dont click it yet!* ew.com. there is a spoiler (revealed by stephenie meyer herself) so absofuckinglutely DO NOT click the link unless you absofuckinglutely cannot resist. i couldnt. haha.

did i mention that i cut my hair a few weeks back? the length and messy-ness of my hair was irritating me so i went and cut it. it's now chin length. i def prefer the new cut to my previous one. i still wanna cut it shorter. wahaha. i wanted to highlight it purple too but my hairdresser doesnt think its a good idea. heh.

since i havent blogged properly i might as well mention one more thing.

for the past few months, i've been getting a lot of 'omg, you're almost 21!? i thought you were only 17!' wtf! do i really look 17?? and why is it always 17? why not 18 or 19? it's always 17! huh, maybe thats why i dont have a boyfriend. they dont wanna look like a paedo or something! lol.
