panic

i don't know how it happened but suddenly chuck bass is my favourite gossip guy. haha. anyway, this is old news but did you know that ed westwick is lead singer in a band? they are called 'the filthy youth' and kind of sound like a combination of the Arctic Monkeys and The Clash. Not a bad thing. haha. check em out here

on to personal matters, i've been working for two weeks already! yay! hahaha. should be getting my first pay soon! i'd say i'm pretty happy there but i'm always so sleepy by the end of the day. i'm still not used to waking up before 12pm. plus i still sleep after 3am on most days. gawd.

thanks to anthea i realized that augustana have finally released their new album! here's the first single, sweet and low.



they also reworked 'heart shaped gun' (one of my favourite augustana songs, the others being 'stars and boulevards' and 'bullets') and retitled it as 'hey now' (with some changes in lyrics). also good but i still prefer 'heart shaped gun', it has more of an edge (and a guitar solo :P)

phantom planet's new album is also out :) it features a rework of 'do the panic'. is this the new craze? reworking your own songs? lol! for this one however, i prefer the new version. haha. boy, was i delighted when they played it on gossip girl a few episodes ago :D
