lol. so says gerard way of my chemical romance.

yes people! i managed to see my chemical romance perform for the first time in malaysia! woohoohoo! and it's all thanks to rach and her wonderful uncle! lol! he managed to get 4 VIP tickets to the concert. meaning we were THIS close to the stage! haha. the vip section was in front of the red zone (rm 323 tickets). fucking close man! we were two people behind the front row. can see the band's faces so clearly! let me just say that gerard way's face is as white as a sheet. lol. THE CONCERT WAS AWESOME. thank you rach again! XD

anyways, went over to rach's place at er... 3 something was it? met her friend from singapore, therese and met her puppies! argh! so cute! should have taken pics. hahahaha. damn cute man. rach's dad gave us a lift to stadium merdeka where we met up with her other friend (we shall refer to her as 'hakky' since rach says she would prefer to be known that way lol).

there was 3 different entrances into the concert grounds. one was for the rm103, rm163 and rm253 tix, one for the rm323 tix and one for media and vip. we were confused by the idiot at the vip entrance. we showed him our tix and asked him if we entered through that door. so he asked us if we had red zone tix and we said yes cos our tix said VIP as well as red zone. he saw our tix too btw. the fella directed us to the rm 323 entrance. so we assumed that vip tix meant red zone tix and we made our way there. then hakky met one of her friend's there and realised that her friend's ticket said red zone but not VIP. geez. stupid bugger at vip entrance must have made a mistake. made our way back to vip entrance and asked the bugger again. this time we pointed at the words VIP and he said yes our entrance is here at the VIP entrance. so we thought that THAT was settled until this other girl goes over to him and asks him the same question. guess what. THE IDIOT POINTED HER TO THE 323 ENTRANCE! lol! wth man. in the end we had to ask one of the guys wearing the concert organizer's t-shirt to get a confirmation.

they let us in at about 7pm. by the time we got in one buck short were already performing. man. we couldnt believe how close we were to the stage. lol! lucky or what? this is the second time this year i've been to one of my favourite bands concert for free! muahahahaa. anyways one buck short and pop shuvit did a pretty good job of getting the crowd warmed up. haha.

i think it was about 8 something when MCR finally came on stage. they had this awesome backdrop. it was this huge banner of wolves with 'my chemical romance' on it. really cool. wish i could have gotten a clear pic of it. i realised last night that i have a shitty camera. lol. well i suppose its better than a mobile phone but next time i'm definitely gonna borrow my dad's digital camera. it's much newer so im sure its much better than mine. haha.

i cant remember how many songs exactly they performed but this is what i remember (in no particular order mind you lol):

i was so bummed that they didnt play the ghost of you and disenchanted. for those who are wondering, yes, they are good live :)

the concert was over by 9.45 i think. felt really short. we were pretty bummed when it was over lol. but it was awesome. it was actually raining throughout the whole thing. not that many people noticed. rach and i didnt notice the rain at all once mcr were on stage. lol! in the end i wasnt sure if i was drenched in rain or sweat HAHA. the crowd went wild when mcr came on stage. we were all so squashed and tightly packed that at one point i felt that i would be dangling in the air if i lifted both legs off the ground lol.
