pieces don't fit anymore

yay i can't wait for thursday! meeting all the B's for a trip to klcc, hehe. but first, i need help deciding something. since that blooooooooodddyyyyy limewire is STILL down, i am desperate for new music to listen to. SO i am considering buying a good cd for myself. hehe. here are the top 3 i want. but i only have enough rm for one since i'm saving up for other things too.

3) james morrison - undiscovered

i think it's a tie between mcr and james morrison, since i already have all of evanescence's songs lol (thanks ani ^^). BUT there's another thing. The Used's new album (apparently its a dvd/cd thingy) will be coming out in less than two weeks time! i'm not sure though if it's gonna be released in Malaysia. It should, right? lol.

anyways, classes have been going on for about a week now. we've had fashion design class, pattern drafting, garment construction (which is actually draping), presentation techniques 2, and retail design. Presentation techniques sounds like it's gonna be fun this sem. we get to learn and use photoshop this time! Hope the lecturer teaches us loads. lol. fashion design is going to be stressful i can bet. 3 garments. all black (yay?). fit for the runway. with plentyyyy of details. so screwed. cant wait till it's done though. hahaha. anyone wanna model? lol i'm looking for emo-ish or gothic-ish looking girls.

the brakes won't work!

so. went back to college on friday. got our timetable and a short briefing that only lasted, what? 30 minutes max? talk about a pure waste of time. i am, however, totally stoked that this semester i only have to go to college 4 days! that's monday, tues, weds, and thurs. yeah baby, 3 day weekend for me! i am hoping and praying that there will be no changes for my timetable. seems pretty aight to me hehe. only thing is i'll have to stay back until six for 3 days out of 4? dammit. ah well. i think the one extra day of weekend makes up for it hehe.

we were briefed about our internship too. seems we have to tell our lecturer (fill up certain forms and shit) what we would like to do bla bla bla and she'll review it and she'll call up whpever it is we want to work for to see if she can arrange it for us to work during our end-of-semester break. hah. somehow it all seems to easy for me to believe. i'm almost positive that they'll somehow manage to screw it up (as usual).

so i'm going back to coll tomorrow. no break until the one week chinese new year break. we have to produce 3 avant garde garments this semester. and we only have....until early may. damn. i'm gonna die with the detailing. it wouldnt be that bad if we got our garments back but the fact is, the college KEEPS our garments. how shitty is that eh? that's why it feels so painful to put in all that effort into something you prolly wont see ever again. life sucks there.

and can you bloody hell believe that my mp3 player fucked up again??? i plugged it into the comp to change some songs yesterday. but it couldnt seem to access it. so i took it out (removed it safely mind you) and tried turning it on. usually when i turn on the thing it tells me how much free space i have. now the bloody thing says '0.00 mb' left when i know very well that i have more than that. heck i even tried erasing a couple of songs to double check. and when i plug it into the comp it says device not formatted so i cant put in any songs. i think it's the computer which screwed it up. it was perfectly fine before i plugged it in. damn.

ok now for something totally random that has been puzzling me for a while now. i hardly get the chance to practice driving even though i've had my licence for one and a half years already. the thing is i have this dream that keeps coming back to me. not exactly the same. it's always a variation of some sort but always the same point. it's always about me driving and always being unable to brake the car. for some reason (in my dreams) whenever i press the brakes even all the way down AND pull down the handbrake the car never stops. wtf is this supposed to mean? am i doomed? is this a premonition of how i am going to die??? maybe i should write in to those 'mystics' in the newspaper and ask them about it. lol!

pan's labyrinth

thanks to pink is the new blog i have discovered this film: pan's labyrinth. let me tell you this. it sounds and looks fantastic. I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO WATCH THIS!!!! And i don't give a shit if it's foreign (Mexican, to be exact)!!! hehehe.

anyways, i went back to coll on monday to register for my next semester. thankfully my fees aren't as high as the graphic design students who have to pay about rm 12000 this semester! madness i tell ya. The letter we got from the college before we went back stated that we were to start classes the next day after registering. Luckily for us we only have to go back on friday (yay extended holiday hehe).

I realized that i have to do internship this sem. i'm not sure how it's gonna work. whether it's gonna be during this sem or during the break, whether we find the job ourselves or not, who we're gonna work for... the worst part is this: my worst subject is my pattern drafting and sewing techniques. therefore i am fucked, as this internship will most probably require those skills. that's it man. I AM DOOMED! *wallows in self pity and hopeless despair*

and in unrelated matters, i got a new mattress. my old one was poking me in the back everytime i lay on it. the new one however is so bloody high that the headboard of my bed has almost disappeared into oblivion. wtf! it looks so ridiculous. and my bedside drawer is now about one inch below my mattress when last time i had to reach up to turn off my (many) alarm clock(s). lol. i have to admit it feels comfortable though haha.

and my mp3 player seems to be in perfect condition again. hope it stays like that.

well then i'm off to enjoy the remaining hours of my assignment-free holiday!

Dammit. hols are over. well almost. i go back to that hellhole on monday.

The stupid thing is, i haven't received my results or the letter telling me how much to pay for my upcoming semester. what the hell!? how am i supposed to pay on monday if i don't have a frigging clue how much to pay? it seems to me though, that only the fashion students havent got their results. most people i know in other courses have already received their results. and their bill. and some of whom have already settled the bill. as early as last month. huh. i might as well not go back until i get my bill. stupid stupid stupid college.

anyways, i've only got 3 more days of freedom left. argh! no! we had a shorter break this time which is so disappointing as i'm not done enjoying myself! blah. gonna have to wake up early again. no idea how im gonna manage that since i've been waking up at 12 pm everyday.

So since i only have 3 more days, i decided to make the most of it. in a lazy kinda way mind you. lol. I watched Rachel's King and The Clown last night. followed by Nana again. The bassist Takumi in Trapnest is damned hot. woot woot. check him out. nyehehe.

since i last updated my blog i've also been doing loads of reading. or should i say devouring? finished neil gaiman's stardust in less than half a day, started lord of the rings again, read (go ahead and laugh your asses off) enid blyton's malory towers and st clares series agains, read the mallorean series (halfway) by david eddings, tried reading some weird fantasy in modern day type of novel but gave up cos it was so boring... and er i think that's it.

i realised i really want an electric guitar. lol. it's so difficult to play the beginning of pink floyd's wish you were here on an acoustic. lol.

and i like the new bbc entertainment channel on astro haha. british comedies are the best XD

well, i'm off to waste the remaining time i have left. bah.
