first of all, let me just say that i FUCKING LOVE GOSSIP GIRL. lol. the tv series. i'll be honest, i have never gotten round to getting the books so i wouldnt be able to compare it to the series. but yeah, the series rocks! i'm finally up to date with the series. currently dl-ing ep 9 woohoo! (shhhhh *ahem*) lol. here's the gossip girl blog. and thanks yvonne for introducing me to the show ;)


it reminds me of the times when i was equally obsessed with teen dramas like gilmore girls (my absolute fav teen drama ever) and season one of the oc and one tree hill. i say 'season one' because i lost interest in those two series after season 1. they kinda became too overdone, overdramatic and long-winded. plus the female leads were annoying me. lol.

as for music obsessions, i'm currently into armor for sleep's latest album "smile for them". if you like the used, you'll probably like these guys. in fact, sometimes i forget i'm listening to armor for sleep. ben jorgenson kinda sounds like bert! lol. well, sometimes lar. i think the used are more hardcore. best song on the album (for me) is 'smile for the camera'. this song rocks man. check out the lyrics. reminds me of the truman show. hahaha.

midvalley + video overload

went out today with yvonne and alex to midvalley. window shopped and makaned. wah lau. we ate so damn much! lol! we tried the new carls jr joint. the portions are huge ok! i thought they looked about BK size. but no. they are most definitely not! try eating there. you'll be stuffed. even alex couldnt manage. and thats saying something. LOL. but the burger was good. did some window shopping then went over to the gardens for a while. honestly, there's nothing much to do there. lol

went back to the old midvalley in a little bit and went to dlish for cupcakes! well more like, luxury cupcakes lar. lol. they are soooo filling man. it doesnt look a lot but oh man we were SO stuffed after that. gahhh. but they are really good. really really good. i'm going there on an empty stomache next time. HAH.

looking back

3 years gone by in a flash. it still hasnt really sunk in that i've finally completed my diploma course at limkokwing. lol, i keep thinking that i still have to go to college the next day! i will definitely miss being there. administration-wise, it's not the best place to study. lol. but the atmosphere there is probably the most relaxed you could ever get at any university. not exactly a good thing come to think of it, but it suits me lar. lol.

Most of all i will miss the people i met there. i was actually worried that i wouldnt fit in when i first enrolled at lkw cos it has this reputation of having snob students (lol), but let me just say that i've been lucky to have met some really wonderful people there. people worth being friends for life.

i've recently started listening to internet radio (via itunes) again now that i have my own computer in my room. (computer is basically on 24/7 now lol). anyways i've discovered the best radio channel ever! lol.

channel x on 1.fm. really cool radio station. they play everything! lol. well, at least when it comes to stuff i like lar. lol. so far i've heard from the likes of arctic monkeys, REM, nirvana, paramore, smashing pumpkins, silversun pickups (woot!), brand new, starting line, the cure...and loads more. yeah this station basically rocks. :D

another station i like is idobi radio. i've already blogged about this station a few months ago. they play lots of newer bands here. and lots of emo bands. lol. check out the playlist here. why oh why do we not have radio stations like this here?!

so, today was the day i FINALLY MET THE CLICK FIVE!!!! woohooohooo! first ever meet and greet session i've been to. i cant believe i missed the good charlotte one. that was a major blow. i could have met billy!!! but back to tc5, let me tell you this. the guys are incredible. they are all so friendly and warm and genuine. but, let me skip to the best part first eh? KYLE TALKED TO ME!!! lol!! i'm not trying to be big headed and perasan and stuff but i think that i was the person which he spent the most time with. wahaha! and it's all because of this babe!





















i spent four hours making it last night but let me tell you, IT WAS SO WORTH IT! he spoke to me because of it! i'm so glad i'm doing fashion design lol! here's how it went. i reached kyle and this lady took my album sleeve from me and gave it to kyle. he smiled at me (so hot!) and was about to sign it but i interrupted him. lol

OMG. i still cant believe it! he was so goddamn hot! even hotter in person than in pics and videos! and he was so nice and genuine. like he looked genuinely pleased when i gave him the present. and the way he looks directly at you when he speaking to you.... damn! i would pay 100 bucks just to go through that again. talking with kyle patrick, no matter how short the conversation was! *gasps*

LOL! i'm so sorry ben! i swear i would have made one for everyone if i had the time! hahaha! but they were all so nice. like, even before we put out our hands to shake theirs, they put out their hands first and go, "hey how are you?!" with lovely smiles, looking directly at you. i cant get over it. they are too nice XD and joe is so shy. phahaha.

the stupid tower records staff annoyed me though. lol. no hugging, no pictures, nothing else will be signed apart frm the cd, and no writing names. wtf! the last part was the stupidest. ani who was holding yvonne's cd cos yvonne couldnt make it, asked joey if he could write "yvonne". joey was actually gonna do it! he actually asked ani, what's the name? and before he could write it this stupid lady comes along, grabs the cd sleeve and says "no names!" WTF! im surprised they didnt snatch my present for kyle frm him lol.

the signing was really fast. it was over before we realised it! the guys stood up and started waving and stuff but i didnt realise it was over till they started walking away! lol.

i'm so stoked that 'mama' is goin to be my chemical romance's next single, scheduled for release this month! probably my second fav song on the black parade album (cancer is my fav).

i know a lot of people say they're overrated, posers, unoriginal bla bla bla but i REALLY liked this album. amongst all the albums i actually bothered to buy, i think the black parade is sitting pretty at number 2. with evanescence's fallen at the top. lol. seriously, these are two albums i've never gotten sick of listening to. but when it comes to album artwork, then yeah this one wins hands down. prolly a lot of better ones out there but i havent gotten round to buying any yet lol.

so back to the song, i cant wait for the video man! im hoping they do something theatrical and dramatic. ive always imagined this song with a carnival type of setting. you know, those old ones with the striped tents and freakshows and men in top hats with velvet coats. lol. basically a really weird and quirky setting. yeah that would be awesome!

in fact, something like concept of this video below. the song is called 'rest in peace and fly away' by japanese musician sugizo featuring bice. i think ive posted this song here before. anyways. i like the backdrop and setting of this vid. i really wanted to watch the movie which this song was the soundtrack of. never found it. lol. incidentally, the movie is called 'soundtrack'. the art direction looks really cool. check out the vid.

so what's this all about, you ask?

lol. it's for a competition. was amazed that they wanted me to make this dress, i mean, it's so damn plain. and i was pretty half-assed when i was designing this. lol

40 designs were chosen for the competition. i actually had two of mine picked but i had to slash one since they only gave us ONE BLOODY WEEK to complete the dress. wtf. luckily the college is paying for this. most ppl sent their garments to seamstresses i think hahaha.

we were supposed to design evening gowns, wedding gowns, day wear, and cocktail dresses inspired by the movie my fair lady. i kinda had audrey hepburn in mind while i was designing this instead of the movie. hahaha.

on a more depressing and possibly suicidal note, alex is not able to go for the click five gig. meaning andrew and i will not be going either *wails*
