lol *ahem* excuse me i'm still extremely high from last night's concert. it was so freaking awesome. i take back whatever i've said about their new album. cos who cares?? THEY BLOODY ROCK!! anyway let me try to contain my excitement for a while to give a coherant post about the concert. one step at a time *breathes in*

reached there at about 4.20 with rach. oh wait wait let me back track a bit. at about 3 o clock (was it?) wai kit called me. or rather i called. realised i had 5 missed calls frm him . lol. anyways what he was so desperate to tell me was this: HE AND PAM MET THE BAND!!! YES THEY DID!! OMG!! I WOULD KILL TO BE IN THEIR PLACE!!! lol. apparently billy and joel were really nice (yay!). gah i'm still so jealous. lol!

anyways we met up with christina and her friend clarine there. met wai kit and pam too but didnt hang out cos they were queuing at the vip area. lol. alex and rozy came a bit later. unfortunately i didnt really get to hang out with nigel and yvon and nick too, sorry guys!! maybe another time yeah?

gates opened at six something (damn malaysian timing) concert only started around 9. and these were only the local bands. lol! one buck short opened the night. followed by estranged (these guys rock wei, and christina was goin on and on about how cool andy was lol) and jason lo (he rocked too ^^). speaking of jason lo, i remember years ago when he was just starting out... i was in tower records kl plaza i think. and he was playing alone with just his guitar and the sad thing was no one was really paying attention to him. lol. what a difference last night was. what with thousands of people singing along to evening news :)

good charlotte only came on at about 10? lol. anyways was so excited when i saw them. omg, BILLY IS SO HOT!! lol. i wish we snuck into the vip area. lol. we were close enough i suppose. but closer would have been so much better. my phone couldnt get any good pics therefore i won't post any since you'll only see mad lines of colourful lights. lol.

didn't go to college today so i could catch up with some of my ass-ignments. spent most of my time today completing the converse ads thingys. bloody photoshop slows down my computer. gahhh... i should be paying more attention to my garments of course, but i have to show my lecturer my postcards, poster and mock-up tomorrow so that she can give us the go ahead to print them all out. more money. sigh.

i'm so happy my first garment is 90% complete! others are er.. still work-in-progress.

on the other hand, i'm going through a lot of stress right now. as if i'm not goin through enough what with all the assignments, i'm being accused of shit that is obviously not me. being misunderstood for someone's own wrong doings. bleh.

i hate my new haircut. lol. i should have learned this years ago but NEVER TRUST YOUR HAIRDRESSER/STYLIST/WHATEVER . lol maybe i'm just to easy to persuade. plus there's nothing i can do to hide it since i look shiteous in hats.

i've been listening to good charlotte's good morning revival since last night. haha. getting in the mood perhaps. it has some really catchy tracks but also some un-memorable ones. maybe i havent really listened to it enough yet, but so far i think i still prefer their older stuff. lol

alex called me this morning and told me his lecturer has 6 VIP passes to the concert. whoa. what do these VIP passes do anyway? do you get to see the band in person or just get places really close to the stage? whatever, as long as im goin i am more than happy hehe. and im glad i made others happy in the process as well ;)

yeah im aware that i am completely high now. hang on, gimme a moment to calm down a bit to explain how i got them.

OK. pretty routine day in college. go to class, do a bit of work, go down to the plaza for lunch.
went to the plaza and i noticed they were blaring good charlotte's new album on the PA system.
found a place near the stage. NOT intentionally, mind you. pure chance.
and then after a while we notice this pale dude picking up the mike at the stage. *hang on he looks strangely familiar*
he starts talking but we cant hear a word (limkokwing's sound system is pretty bad lol).
he walks nearer to us and i hear him say 'good charlotte'. lol. ok he caught my attention. and then i realised, bloody hell! it's colby from mtv!!
then he started giving out these envelopes (still talking but i still cant catch a word of it). then he backed off before he reached our table and went to the other side *ass!*
ok to be honest i had NO IDEA what was in those envelopes. i thought they were postcards. i mean cmon. who goes around giving out hundreds of free concert tickets eh?
he passed a bunch to this other dude who went around giving them out too. i didnt care what was in there i just wanted one. haha. finally they came over and passed two envelopes to our table. opened it and there were 2 cards in it. didnt realise what it was ( i was still under the impression that they were postcards lol) until we noticed these dotted holes in it. whoa. heart stopped for a few seconds. read the little words at the bottom of the card.
"OMFG!!!! THESE ARE TICKETS!!!!"
bloody hell. so at first i had two tickets and christina had two too. then i noticed that ppl were actually goin up to colby and asking for more. bloody hell. i dragged andrew with me to go get more (hehe must muka tembok a bit la) cos hey, whats a concert with only two people eh? lolz. must think about my other friends who might wanna go too right? lol.
so he handed us more and wooohooo!! i now have 8 tickets!! well. 7 now. since i just passed one to alex. haha. so one for me. one for rach. one for alex.
i have 5 remaining tickets to be given away now. anyone interested please gimme a buzz ok. (as long as i know you. random strangers will not be entertained lol) and i'll see if i can spare any ;)

here's the strangest part. mtv has been advertising the concert. you can win tickets to their concert bla bla bla. the concert has been mentioned on hitz.fm. and apparently digi is advertising it too. The concert is scheduled for 21st april at bukit jalil (according to the mtv ads). BUT i have not come across ANY information ANYWHERE regarding ticket prices or where to get them. cmon people, april 21st is what, 2 weeks away? and no tickets for sale YET? unless of course they're only giving tickets away... wtf.

perfect. the rare occasion i find someone who's interested in goin with me for a rock(?) concert (yay rach!!!) and its nearly impossible to get tickets. this is screwed up man...

aight, so today i got christina and andrew to help take some pics of me. no, i wasnt mindlessly/pointlessly/'perasan'-ly camwhoring. lol. i needed some shots for my presentation technique project. we learn how to use photoshop in this class. so basically what we have to do for this project is to come up with 4 postcards and one poster for a brand/theme/style/occasion/fashion show/whatever. as long as it's fashion related. i decided to do converse :D so since i dont know many converse-wearing girls i decided to model for myself (even though im not a modelling sorta person lol). managed to get waikit to model for me too. hehe thanks! and thanks ani for the skateboard!! :)
